Food that Supports the Journey
Daily meals prepared with intention, designed to nourish the body, support energy, and bring the community together.
Food at Yama is not an add-on to the retreat — it is an essential part of the experience. Each meal is created to support the rhythm of the day, the depth of the practices, and the well-being of the group.
Here, nourishment is about balance, presence, and care. Simple, honest food that sustains the body without weighing it down, allowing guests to remain open, grounded, and connected throughout the retreat.
Our meals are prepared on-site using fresh, locally sourced ingredients, with a strong focus on seasonal produce. The kitchen works in rhythm with the retreat flow, offering food that feels light yet grounding, nourishing yet uncomplicated.
Menus are designed to support movement, stillness, and rest — adapting naturally to the needs of each group and the intention of the retreat.
We understand that each retreat has different needs. Our team works closely with hosts to align meals with the energy, schedule, and intention of the journey.
We can accommodate:
This flexibility allows you to focus on guiding the retreat, knowing that nourishment is aligned and cared for.
Open daily from 7:30 AM to 10:00 PM.
Breakfasts and lunches follow the rhythm of the day, light and energizing, made with fruits, roots, grains, and herbs that support clarity and vitality.
As evening arrives, the atmosphere shifts: natural wines, fresh tonics, and simple cocktails invite slow conversations and a sense of ease.
The sound of the river, the glow of candles, and the warmth of shared moments make every meal at Yama feel grounded and real.
Food at Yama reflects its environment. Ingredients, flavours, and preparation are influenced by the land, the seasons, and the slower rhythm of West Bali.
Just like the retreat itself, nourishment here is grounded, intentional, and deeply connected to place.
